What is on the first screen?The first screen that you see is the "Select Customer Number" screen.Choose the customer you want to check for and push enter. If you are at a headquarters location and your customer listing is large you can search for a particular branch. Simply hit the link "Search For A Customer." Here you will see several searchable fields. In each of them you can type the entire set of words or numbers that you are looking for. For example, in the ZIP field you can type the 5 digit zip code of the branch you are looking for; or in the Customer Name field, you can type the entire name of the branch that you are looking for. But if you only know the first few letters or the first few numbers you can type those in and hit the asterisk ( shift + 8 on your keyboard). The asterisk (*) is a wildcard, and it will find all branches that have the first few characters or numbers you typed. When you hit [Enter] you will get a list of all the branches that match the criteria you typed in. Click on the Customer number of the branch you want. You will be taken back to the "Select Customer Number" screen, and the customer you selected will be visible in the customer field. Hit enter, and this will take you to the "Checklist" Screen. ![]() What is on the Inventory Status page?When you hit the "Submit" button, you generate a unique reference number. This number contains all of the inventory information for the items that you have selected. Please make special note of this number, so that if you ever need to look back at it, or you need to call Customer Service, you can mention this reference number. The inventory status page will:
In this way, you would know how much we could ship, when we expect to ship it, and the point of origin for the shipment- 2,000 on the 7th and 3,000 on the 21st of January, all from Dallas, TX. To help you better understand your transit times, we also provide you with the shipping point. This is the location of the plant that is shipping your material. From here, you also have the option of checking your current price for these items. Simply click on the "Check current price" link. NOTE: Your current price is your current market price for your requested material. This does not include any freight costs or any handling fees. Nor does the current price include any special one-time discounts, or job discounts. The price is derived directly from our system, and so it is equal to your current list price multiplied by your current system discount. If you have any questions about the price of your material please contact your NIBCO outside Sales Representative. If you click on the current price link, you will be taken to the "Current Price" page. Here you will see your current system net price, by line item, for the entire quantity of each line. To go back to Inventory Availability, simply click the "Check inventory status" link. If you do not check the current price you can select "Create new checklist" to check inventory on more items, or you can go to any of the other partner options by hitting "Home" on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. ![]() More features on the Checklist screenSuppose that you looked at the inventory status on a couple of items. You told your contractor the particular lead times, and he told you that he would get back with you about a purchase order. Well, the contractor has finally gotten back with you, and you want to make sure that that list of items is still available. Not only can you look at the inventory status of new items, you can also view previous lists that you have created. If you want to run another check on some items that you have already looked at, simply click the "Reference Numbers" button. You will come to a summary page that lists all of the reference numbers that you have created for the particular customer that you are looking at. You have a couple of options on this summary page:If you know what is on the reference number you can push the "Add" link and this will add the list of items to the checklist that you are creating. You can then go back to the checklist and hit the "Submit" button to run another check on that same set of items. If you are not sure what is on a particular reference number, simply click on the highlighted reference number, and this will take you to the reference number details page. Here you will see every item that is on the reference number. To add this list of items to a new checklist, simply go back to the reference number summary, and click the "Add" link to add that reference number to the current checklist. You can also check inventory status on items for a different customer. To do this, simply click the "New Customer" button. If you want to start over with a different list of items, you can click the "New Checklist" button. This will clear out the page, and allow you to begin to select new items. ![]() |
